Bachelor of Nutrition with a Master's degree in Psychological Guidance and Diploma in Teaching.
He specializes in comprehensive care, both from a nutritional and psychological perspective, of patients with morbid obesity and eating disorders, as well as diseases of the gastrointestinal system, chronic degenerative diseases and post-surgery bariatric patients.
He has taken courses related to patient care with diabetes, obesity, eating disorders, depression and anxiety.
She has participated in national and international congresses as well as organizer, speaker and presenting various research projects.
He has published several scientific articles related to the role of the nutritionist in the treatment of patients with obesity and has participated in various books such as Medical Nutriology or the Manual of Emergency Procedures, where he dedicated a chapter to talk about interventions in patients with disorders of the eating behavior.
For 6 years she was a nutritionist attached to the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán, in the Department of Clinical Nutriology and in the Clinic of Obesity and Eating Disorders.
In January 2019, she was recognized by the Mexican Association of Nutritionists for her career in the field of Clinical Nutrition.
She is currently in charge of the nutrition and psychology area of ​​the Southeast Endoscopy Center in the state of Yucatan, she teaches face-to-face and online consultations and teaches the Nutrition and Master's Degree in Pediatric Nutrition at the Marist University of Mérida and various graduates of the Latin American Institute of Overweight and Obesity (ILSO).
She teaches various talks and courses on nutrition and health issues (obesity, eating disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, etc.) at the local and national level for both the general public and health professionals
